UCT Radio is the biggest campus-community radio station in Cape Town. It has its studios on the premises of the University of Cape Town and is run by a diverse and dynamic team of university students.

This radio station offers various talk shows where subjects such as current affairs, lifestyle, campus life, finance, law, politics, community issues and sports are discussed through different perspectives thanks to the diverse cultural and social background of the students/presenters.

The station's line-up also includes various music shows with a minimum of 50% music content by local artists. Its music repertoire is comprised of mostly of reggae, drum 'n bass, world music, hip-hop, trance, kwaito, rock, house and trance music. UCT is also open to playing different music genres and accepts music submissions from unknown local artists thus supporting the local community.

UCT Radio broadcasts within a 20km radius of the University of Cape Town using the frequency 104.5 FM and it is also possible to listen live to its programming globally, through its online live streaming service.
