The new video for “Fake My Own Death” is here and is everything and more that you could expected.
All Sum 41’s nightmares came true in this video with the appearance of figures like Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian and Neon Cat.
The video appears to have a strong satirical message behind it. The lyrics “take me away” and “help me escape” and the use of memes like Angry Birds, Kim Kardashian, Game of Thrones, Snapchat filters suggests that Sum 41 want to escape to the social media and internet trends.
“Fake My Own Death” will appear on the band’s upcoming album, “13 Voices”, that is expected to be out on October 7.
