Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar Opened BET Awards Ceremony

Yesterday (June 26) the BET Awards 2016 Ceremony took place on Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

For those of you who don’t know what the BET Awards are, they were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to distinguish African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports and others categories.

The ceremony takes place once a year and counts with performances by many artists.

This year, the Ceremony was opened by Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar, who gave a brilliant performance of “Freedom” from Beyoncé’s album “Lemonade”.
