KRUA Radio is a radio station serving Anchorage, Alaska, under the ownership of the University of Alaska Anchorage. The station is managed and operated by students who, together with community volunteers, create their own content and set their own music shows and playlists. It has gathered a strong community of supporters and fans over the years, thanks to its innovative and diverse programming which appeals to every demographic. 

KRUA Radio's weekly schedule displays the different passions and interests of the students with shows that touch upon a wide variety of subjects such as sports, politics, music, the supernatural, conspiracy theories, and fishing. The station's music repertoire is also diverse and includes genres such as indie music, garage rock, and punk acts, among many others.

KRUA Radio's online live streaming service is available worldwide, allowing people anywhere in the world to listen live to the contest created by the students of the University of Alaska Anchorage.
