Kovsie FM is a campus radio station that broadcasts to the Free State using the frequency 97.0 FM and to the world via online live streaming. The station is located on the grounds of the University of the Free State, in Bloemfontein.

With the help of a few permanent staff members, the station's team of presenters is comprised of students performing radio training that create a fun, innovative and dynamic broadcast. Its line-up comprises various music shows focused on different music genres, entertainment shows and independent, unbiased news reports with the latest community, national and international developments.

Kovsie FM broadcasts content in English, Afrikaans and Sotho and targets a young audience between 15 and 35 years old. As part of its mission, this radio station is also involved with the local community by sponsoring and promoting events to help its development, offering radio training and supporting local artists by accepting music submissions to be played during its broadcast.
